Guerilla and permaculture gardening.
From 2010 until 2017 we were involved in a guerilla gardening project in London using
permaculture practise as an extension of a free work offer.
We were privileged to have a large area of land in Central
London to maintain, landscape and use for permaculture and organic
gardening. It was a great community project which had the
support of many locals. This also granted us a convenient location to be based when
in London. We were able to compost local green waste and food
waste to produce wonderful flowers, herbs, fruit and vegetables.
It was inspiring to turn land that had become a dumping ground for rubbish
into a beautiful garden for the community.
Our vehicle runs on waste vegetable oil which is donated to us on a monthly basis by a local
business.
