Alan

lived and worked briefly with the Chldren of God in the 1970's.   He left, got married and raised twin daughters.   After his girls were grown up, he decided to re-commit his life to work for God again.   Soon after watching the Gianstefani's on Wife Swap and reading a copy of Survivors, he decided to forsake his career as an antique restorer, and his family to join them.  He worked in Kenya in 2005 on a permaculture project and teaching English in poor schools.   In 2011, he was ordered to leave the "underground" Jesus Christians group on David Mckay's orders because he refused to take his wife to court to sue her for more money in a divorce settlement.    He has continued serving God with Roland, Sue, Dann and Ross.   He faithfully works on the streets all over the UK, talking to people about the teachings of Jesus.  Alan has been actively involved in protesting in support of Julian Assange in Australia (with Ross) as well as at his court appearances and the vigil outside the Ecuadorian embassy in the UK.
